Hari Raya Celebrations

The Children had Hari Raya Celebrations in the school. The Children and staff were encouraged to wear traditional Malay costumes. As a part of the celebration, the teachers had a sharing session with the children about the festival, followed by a snack sharing session .The children enjoyed receiving green packets from their teachers on that day.

 

Our Little Winners of Bharathiyar-Bharathidasan Vizha 2012 Competition

The Tamil Language and Cultural Society organises two major literary festivals every year on three eminent poets. They are the Thirukkural Festival which celebrates Poet Thiruvalluvar, and the Bharathiyar-Bharathidasan Festival which celebrates the greatness of the two revolutionary poets Bharathiyar and Bharathidasan. In conjunction with the celebration, the Tamil Language and Cultural Society is organizing competitionswhich will help the children develop in  oratorical skills and recitation skills in spoken Tamil and further enhance their knowledge of Tamil.

Our Little Treasures children bagged prizes in the event .M.SriLakshmi (2nd Prize ),Cynthia (3rd Prize) and Harshini (6th Prize).Congratulations to our Little Winners .
