RACIAL HARMONY DAY

Little Treasures Kindergarten (LTK) staff and children celebrated the Racial Harmony day  on 21st July 2011 .The Staff and children were dressed in traditional costumes different heritage and tradition found in Singapore such as Cheongsam , Baju Kurung and Sari etc.On the event Teachers explained them about the different languages spoken ,different kinds of traditional dresses ,different kinds of  dances, food etc.









The Racial Harmony day is to celebrate our success as a harmonious nation built on a rich diversity of cultures and heritage .This is celebrated as a part of National Education and to signify our unique multi-racial and multi-cultural society. The Racial Harmony day celebration helps the inter-racial understanding amongst our Pre-School kids.

The ‘Sandwich Making’ was done on the same day to incorporate the healthy eating  in  children .The Teachers explained them the different kinds of sandwiches  and the children enjoyed making their own sandwich.The children and Staff had great fun enjoying the Racial Harmony Day .
